Rua Frederico Arouca, 100
«Almond Box» used to be the name given to the Duke's Palace, known today as Hotel Albatroz.
The hotel consists of two separate buildings facing each other, both originally residences of the local squire dating back from the 19th century.
The Albatroz is the main building; the smaller one, designed by an Italian architect, is called «Palace» and its architecture denotes some neogothic and neo-manueline influence with some neo-arabic details.
The hotel is set in a privileged location, just over the beach, has lovely terraces and most rooms offer sea view.
